Dear :
We are writing to express our gratitude for the extra time and attention you’ve afforded our son James this year.
James’s grades have improved markedly over the past few months. We have also noticed that he now approaches his math homework more confidently. With your coaching, he has discovered that if he applies himself consistently to understanding a difficult problem, he will succeed.
We are very impressed with your teaching ability, as well as with the amount of care and attention you’ve given our son. James is very lucky to be your student this year.
Sincerely,

my memo

My evaluation is an academic letter to thanks a teacher to help the child improved his studying.
The letter which mentions how the teacher helps the child to improve his grade is so clear and professional-looking. Although it is quite short, it provides us all information about child’s improvement. It is a great letter but it designs not for all users. It shows us in the individual case, talks about the child with his studying but how about some children with other problem. We cannot use the same template in that case.
To improve this template, I want to insert some lines to tell the teacher about some child’s problems before thanks him. The parents always want their child to become a good student. By doing that, the parents can makes sure the teacher can help their child more than that.

  1. some grammar errors need to be corrected like
    " to thanks"
"it designs" must be rewritten as "it was designed"

  2. in my opinion, your template is a good example of a thank-letter. I'm also agree that it is very clear and professional-looking.
However, you still have some error grammar. In the next time you should check the error before you post it on blog. good job.
